Mr. Sandberg graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1987 after completing the Intensive Program in Criminal Law and a Practicum with John M. Rosen in 1986. Called to the Bar in 1990, he has practiced criminal law exclusively throughout Ontario and beyond, with particular experience in homicide, criminal organisation and weapons offences.

Often featured in radio, television and newspaper coverage, his practice includes “Project” cases involving South American and European entities identified with organised crime. He is a frequent commentator on a wide range of issues, including legislative changes in criminal law and in both English and French media.

He often works collaboratively with the leading experts in related fields of forensics (psychiatry, toxicology, ballistics, pathology), immigration and subspecialties within criminal law (wiretaps, complex impaired driving).

Mr. Sandberg is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Hamilton Criminal Lawyers Association, the Peel Law Association, the Sudbury District Law Association, the Thomas More Lawyers Guild, and is a past Director of the Ontario Bar Association and of the Criminal Lawyers' Association. Mr. Sandberg is pleased to offer his services in English, French and Italian.
